Investing in Nigeria’s Future: Celebrating the 2026 AGH Future Leaders Scholars
For many talented young Nigerians, gaining admission to a higher institution is a moment of celebration—but tuition costs can quickly turn that achievement into uncertainty. The After God’s Heart (AGH) Future Leaders Scholarship helps close that gap by supporting academically exceptional students from underserved communities.
In 2026, 365 Consulting & Communications Limited coordinated the AGH scholarship initiative, providing first-year school-fee assistance to ten deserving students. The project concluded with an award ceremony on October 1, 2026, which coincided with Nigeria’s Independence Day.
Finding the Next Generation of Leaders
Working with partner schools, 365 Consulting & Communications invited eligible students to apply via a dedicated online registration portal. Applicants submitted their WAEC results, JAMB scores, and an essay titled “The World Tomorrow and Me.”
The essays gave each applicant an opportunity to describe their vision for the future and explain how they hoped to make a difference through their chosen degree. Together, the academic records and essays supported a structured screening process focused on achievement, potential, and financial need.
A Celebration of Achievement
The award ceremony brought together selected scholars, their parents or guardians, and school representatives. Guests included Arch. Olaniyi Dasaolu, President of the Yewa Egbado College Old Students Association, and Mrs. Taiwo Mojisola Titilayo of Ajao Estate Senior Grammar School. The scholars, wearing AGH-branded jackets, received AGH lapel pins, fostering a strong sense of identity and belonging as they began this new chapter.
More Than Financial Support
Beyond receiving scholarships, the candidates participated in a training session focused on developing an entrepreneurial mindset. They were encouraged to learn practical skills that could help them achieve financial independence and support themselves while studying.
Each scholar received a ceremonial check for ₦200,000, a certificate, and a bag containing a Bible. The scholarship funds were subsequently disbursed to the personal accounts provided by all ten recipients.
Building a Sustainable Legacy
The 2026 AGH Future Leaders Scholarship demonstrates what is possible when academic promise meets meaningful opportunity. By easing the financial pressure of a student’s first year and pairing funding with practical guidance, the initiative gives young people a stronger foundation for success.
