AFTER GOD HEART
DBA, “After God’s Heart”
Statement of purpose
“After God Heart Inc.,” doing business as “After God’s Heart,” was established exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes: to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and improve people's welfare and human development worldwide. At our core, we extend hope in Christ and encourage basic human dignity.
Strategy
The principles guiding the AGH organization are based on the premise of reaching people where they are with the essentials for human dignity and enriching their lives with the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We intentionally support mission-centric, community-transforming, and reputable organizations while expanding our reach globally through our subsidiaries, including Abiding Christian, Men After God’s Heart, and Kingdom Kings.
In addition, we believe in the effectiveness of the ripple effect, as small acts of kindness can grow into significant waves of impact. “After God’s Heart” is committed to the Kingdom mission, as defined by the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, as taught by Jesus. He said in Acts 1:8, “You shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.” Love rooted in Christ inspires us to act with compassion, motivating us to do more to address the numerous needs in the world.
Missions
1. The Gospel
Global spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipping the saints for ministry work. Spreading the Gospel of Christ worldwide through various platforms and channels is the core mission of After God’s Heart. This is accomplished through:
2. Education
Human capital development through access to appropriate education is crucial for eradicating poverty, enhancing society, improving the quality of life, and restoring human dignity. Education is a ticket out of ignorance, offering hope for a better future.
“AGH Future Leaders Scholarships and Outreaches”
Need-based meritorious scholarships for tuition and essential needs to students who are already admitted to a higher education institution
Grants to gifted underserved students in high school through educational competitions like essays, science projects, and creative arts
Establish libraries in underrepresented schools and communities
Distribution of essential educational supplies, school uniforms, and backpacks to underserved students.
3. Food and water
Many diseases can be prevented and cured if people have access to clean water and a healthy diet. Good nutrition promotes better health, and addressing water and food shortages worldwide is a significant way to mitigate healthcare crises. AGH addresses nutritional disparities through;
“AGH God Sees Me”
Nutritional outreaches to reach the most vulnerable and less privileged people in the society: widows, orphans, medically challenged, and people with disabilities
Donations to organizations responding to worldwide crises
Direct support for the less privileged communities
Improving the earning power of underrepresented communities.
4. Business and economic empowerment
We partner with local organizations and small and micro businesses to create an economic multiplier effect in their communities through job creation and increased economic activities. We believe that you can always give people fish to eat, but teaching them to fish reduces their dependence and dignifies their humanity. A Yoruba proverb says, “Ise ni ogun ise:” work is the antidote to poverty. Many people in underserved communities only need a little to empower them to make life easier for their families. It’s our privilege to offer them hope.
“AGH God Empowered” Projects
Strengthen communities through business empowerment
Provide business grants to boost small and micro businesses by stimulating ventures of the most vulnerable people in society: hawkers, roadside sellers, and menial workers
Provide business training and vocational support to communities’ micro and small business owners.
5. Healthcare
“AGH Healthcare Interventions”
Medical supplies for people in underserved communities
Support health care centers in underserved communities with medical essentials to help make their jobs easier
Sponsor grassroots health education, engagements, and medical outreaches
Sponsor healthcare and medical R&D projects.
“God can do amazing things with a willing heart and, as Jesus did, still feed five thousand men with five loaves and two fishes (Matthew 14:13-21). After all, He is God and holds the whole world in His hands. "After God’s Heart" was born out of willing hearts and the desire to see Jesus glorified. He gave it all; all we can leave behind in the world are little drops in an ocean from the abundance of love the Father has poured on us (1 John 3:1). One drop can cause many ripples, and when it comes from a surrendered heart, it will always point people to God's goodness.”
